Pick-Up from Hotel

Your tour begins with a pickup from your hotel or any preferred location in Delhi, Gurugram, or NCR. Your driver will transfer you to Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station to board the superfast Gatimaan Express. The train departs at 8:10 AM and reaches Agra Cantonment Railway Station at around 9:50 AM. Breakfast is served on board during the journey. Please remember to carry a valid ID such as a passport, Aadhaar card, or driving license.

Upon arrival in Agra, you will meet your professional government-approved tour guide and begin the sightseeing tour. Start with the magnificent Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, located on the banks of the Yamuna River. Built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, this white marble monument is admired for its stunning architecture and romantic history. (Please note that the Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays.)

After exploring the Taj Mahal, enjoy a relaxing lunch at a local restaurant in Agra. This is a great opportunity to taste traditional Mughlai cuisine, known for its rich flavors and aromatic spices.

After lunch, continue to Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built by Emperor Akbar. This grand red sandstone fortress served as the main residence of the Mughal emperors for many years. Explore its impressive palaces, halls, and the museum displaying artifacts from the Mughal era.

Yes, you can do a day trip to Agra from Delhi. You can go on a full-day tour, but we recommend the former, as it gives you the opportunity to enjoy the city and explore the surroundings while saving a lot of money.

You have to pay an entry fee of Rs 50 to visit the Taj Mahal for Indians, Rs 1050 to foreigners and Rs 535 to SA Taj Mahal entry with the Mausoleum access costs more, INR 200.

Taj Mahal is open on all days except Fridays. On Fridays, the palace is closed to visitors.
